Import Students
Students can be imported into the portal by following these steps:
Feature & Functionality
This feature is used to import student details either by adding a single or bulk import, validating, allocating, and deleting to update to a specific program.
Note: Student data will be imported automatically if the university has admitted students using the Samarth Admission Portal.
The page provides access to the following functionalities:
- Add Student
- Import Student: Click on the “Download Excel Format” and update the details as highlighted in the spreadsheet.
- Validate: Select a student or all students and click the “Validate” button to validate the data.
- Allocate: Select a student or all students and click the “Allocate” button to allocate them.
Label Name Descriptions
Admission Type: Select desired pre-populated value.
Academic Session: Select desired pre-populated value.
Section – Organization Unit: Select desired pre-populated value.
Delete: Select a student or all students and click the “Delete” button to delete.
Role Access
User Role Description
- Administrator: Can add, edit, and view the details using the ‘Add,’ ‘Edit,’ and ‘View’ options available on this page.

Feature & Functionality
Student details can be viewed by clicking on the “gear” icon under the action column or by clicking on the enrolment number under the enrolment number column.

Student Portal
The student can follow these instructions to log in to their student account.
Login
Open the student portal link. The homepage will appear, displaying three options:
- Login: Already registered students can log in using their credentials.
- New Registration: First-time registrants should click “New Registration” to generate login credentials.
- Reset Password: Students can reset their password if forgotten.
New Student Registration
Click on the “New Registration” button.
Enter/select the following details:
- Programme
- Name (as on ID card)
- Mode of Registration: Choose between Enrollment Number or Examination Roll Number.
- Enrollment Number/Examination Roll Number
Enter:
- Mobile Number
- Email Address (These must be correct to receive OTP via mail/SMS).
Verify the OTP received via mail/SMS.
Set a password for login.
Note: Students should record their username for future reference.
