1.Introduction

Samarth's CAS module allows employee to apply for career advancement scheme.

1.1. Dashboard

It shows the count of the total number of applications received for career advancement.


2. Settings


This section contains the configuration detail related to the CAS module.
Only the admin with the rights of CAS_Admin can view and access it.

2.1. Manage Schemes and criteria

2.1.1.Manage Scheme

In this field, all the schemes are created/updated.

  • Admin can add a new scheme by clicking on the "Create New Scheme" button present on the top right side of the portal and fill in the required details:-
  1. Name
  2. Status(Inactive/Active)

Admin can only view the details by clicking on icon available in front of every entry.

  • Admin can edit/update the details by clicking on the icon available.

2.1.2. Manage Criteria

In this field, all the criteria are created/updated according to the designation.

  • Admin can click on the "Add Designation" button to add more designation under a particular scheme and select the designation name from the dropdown.


  • Admin can add the criteria for the designation under scheme by clicking on icon present in front of every designation entry.


2.2. Manage Order Status

In this field, all the status of the order will be listed.

  • Admin can add a new status by clicking on the "Add New Order Status" button present on the top right side of the portal and fill in the status detail.




  • Admin can edit/update the details by clicking on the icon available.


3. CAS Application


3.1. Your Application


In this section, Employees can fill a new application form under CAS published/defined by university.

3.2. Create New Application

Employee/Admin can add new application by clicking on the "Create New Application" button present on the top right side of the portal and fill in the required details:-

  1. Employee(select from the drop-down)

  2. Career Advancement Scheme(Select from the drop-down)

  3. Date of Eligibility(Select from the calendar)

  4. Post applied for

  5. Criteria Selected

  6. Filed Application Scanned Copy




Note

An employee can apply and fill only one application form under one scheme.








3.3. View 

Admin can view the details by clicking on the "view" button.

3.4. Print

Admin can take the print of the Application submitted by clicking on the "Print PDF"' button.








4. Track Application

4.1. View Application

Admin can view the details by clicking on the "view" button.

4.2. Update Application Status

Admin can Update the application status as per the requirement time to time and can also put the remarks accordingly.



5. Logins


There will be 2 types of logins:

5.1. cas_admin

can configure the setting, Monitor and approve the applications.


5.1.1. Steps to be followed

Step 1:- Login as CAS_Admin to view the CAS dashboard.
Step 2:- Click on the settings section to first configure the CAS related details.
Step 3:- Click on the icon to configure the types.
Step 4:- To understand the process of how to configure settings go to the "Settings".
Step 5:- To create/view/print an application form go to the"CAS Application".
Step 6:- To view/update status of submitted application form go to the "Track Application"


5.2. cas_employee

can add applications and track the status.




5.2.1. Steps to be followed

Step 1:- Login as CAS_Employee to view the CAS module.
Step 2:- To create/view/print an application form go to the"CAS Application".
Step 3:- To view/update status of submitted application form go to the "Track Application"
